UID Supplier Alliance Committee Membership Structure

Full Member

• Member of AIM
• Contribute based on company type and gross sales revenue
• Full voting status on the UID Supplier Committee
• Participation in all meetings
• Participation in all legislative/agency visits
• Present at industry events on behalf of the group
• Partake in industry and other media outlet interviews on behalf of the group
• Receives all communications and announcements pertaining to the UID initiative
• Recognition on UID committee collateral material and web page.
• Company logo included where applicable in UID committee collateral material and web page.
• Listing in AIM Buyer’s Guide

Associate Member—Partner/Liaison Member

Organizations who have an indirect interest in the UID initiative and who can provide the committee “gift in kind” services. Examples: Media or consulting groups.

• May choose to join AIM Global or AIM North America
• May choose to make a financial contribution to the effort.
• Presents a “gift in kind” proposal to the committee in exchange for their committee participation.
• Participates in all meetings
• Not eligible to vote
• Recognition on UID committee collateral material and web page.
• Receives all communications and announcements pertaining to the UID initiative
• No listing in AIM Buyer’s Guide

Commitment Levels

UID Suppliers Alliance commitment level is based on company type and use a sliding scale based on sales revenues from the auto ID marketplace. Please review the charts below and select the dues amount most appropriate for your organization.

Channel Membership(VAR, System Integrator, and Consultant)

The channel member is defined as an organization whose Auto ID business is reselling, integrating, or providing solutions or managed services.  

Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Membership

The ISV member is defined as an organization whose Auto ID business is providing packaged or custom software solutions.  

Manufacturer Membership(to include OEMs)

The manufacturer member is defined as an organization whose Auto ID business is manufacturing hardware, enterprise software, and supplies.

Distributor Membership(VAR, System Integrator, and Consultant)

The distributor  member is defined as an organization acting as the distribution are of the Auto ID industry, and providing fulfillment, marketing, services, and managed services to resellers on behalf of the manufacturers.        Fee: $2,500
