UID Supplier Alliance Appoints New Chairperson

Warrendale, Pa. – January 28, 2009 – At the winter meeting of the AIM North America UID Supplier Alliance (USA) Committee, Mr. Gary Moe, President, ID Integration (Mukliteo, WA) was elected Chairperson of the USA Committee. As chairperson, Mr. Moe will lead a committee of suppliers dedicated to raising the awareness and adoption of the UID policy within the Department of Defense. UID policy provides for improved item intelligence for military operational planning, while saving tax payer dollars through increased productivity and efficiency. The group also actively lobbies Congress in Washington.

The UID Supplier Alliance (USA) is a committee within AIM North America dedicated to raising the awareness and adoption of the UID Policy within the DoD agencies and DoD contractors, and includes leading providers of UID and other automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) solutions.
