Bob Fudge, Vice President for Public Sector Business at Evanhoe & Associates, Inc. in Dayton, Ohio, has been chosen as the inaugural Chair of AIM NA's new Public Policy Committee. Launched in February of this year, the Public Policy Committee was established to better support the interests of an expanding stakeholder and end user group looking to promote the effective use of automatic identification technologies within the U.S. Government.
Leading the AIT Alliance will be Gary Moe, President of ID Integration, Inc. headquartered in Mukilteo, Washington. The Alliance consists of automatic identification technology (AIT) providers dedicated to raising awareness and encouraging the adoption of AIT policies within U.S. government agencies and its contractor community. The Alliance has been an active participant at both the federal and state levels over the years and responsible for inclusions in significant legislative bills. In addition to the elections of Mr. Fudge and Mr. Moe, the AIM NA Board of Directors re-appointed Ardi Batmanghelidj, President & CEO of Innovatum, Inc. in Sugar Hill, Georgia as the Chair of AIM NA's Healthcare Committee. In this role, he will continue to lead efforts for advocacy and to assist with the implementation and compliance of automatic identification technologies in the highly regulated life sciences and healthcare industry in the U.S. "We anticipate that 2017 will provide new opportunities for the AIM North America members who regularly work with the U.S. government and its agencies," said AIM NA Chief Operating Officer Mary Lou Bosco. "I cannot think of three individuals who are better suited to lead those efforts than Bob, Gary and Ardi. Their wealth of knowledge, experience and dedication will undoubtedly benefit AIM North America members and U.S. tax paying citizens alike."
